At Kaagazi Studio, we envision bringing a little more intention, beauty, and meaning into the everyday lives through thoughtfully designed stationery and keepsakes. Rooted in our love for Indian aesthetics, stories, colours, and nostalgia, our mission is to create pieces that are not only functional but also personal , pieces that help you plan your days, express yourself, hold on to memories, and make everyday moments feel a little more special. We hope to build Kaagazi into a space where design feels warm and familiar, where every creation has a story behind it, and where the simple joy of putting pen to paper never goes out of style.
Our Journey - Meet the Founder
Jinal left a good corporate job just ten months into it, not because she had everything figured out, but because she knew she wanted to build something of her own. With a background in Communication Design, she had always been drawn to Indian aesthetics, colours, illustrations, paper, and the little details that make ordinary things feel special.
She had always loved planning, organising, collecting stationery, and finding ways to make things feel more personal. Somewhere along the way, she realised that this wasn’t just a hobby or an interest , it was something she genuinely wanted to pursue.
So, she took the leap and started building Kaagazi Studio from scratch. What began as a childhood dream slowly turned into a growing creative space dedicated to stationery, design, and all things beautifully Indian. With a lot of uncertainty, countless ideas, support from her family, and a whole lot of heart, Jinal began turning that dream into a bigger reality ,one piece of paper at a time.
The Making of Kaagazi
Kaagazi Studio was built from the ground up, with every detail beginning as an idea and slowly taking shape through countless sketches, experiments, and iterations. From discovering the visual language of the brand to developing its identity, colours, illustrations, packaging, and products, every element was thoughtfully created to feel like a part of the same story. We spent time exploring what we wanted Kaagazi to represent , a love for Indian aesthetics, paper, nostalgia, and the beauty of everyday moments. Nothing was created simply to fill a space; every choice had a purpose. Through many versions, little changes, and plenty of learning along the way, Kaagazi gradually evolved into the brand it is today , handmade in spirit, thoughtfully designed, and created with the hope of becoming a small part of your everyday stories.
